Studio Lyfe sits in the heart of North Hollywood, minutes from Burbank, Studio City, Sherman Oaks and the rest of the Valley. A paid private reservation reserves your selected room for your session, not the whole building. Other studio clients and members may use other rooms and shared areas. Sessions are by appointment, not walk in access.
We run three rooms. Lotus is our flagship tracking and session room and holds up to eight people. Sunset is a cool, relaxed mix and vocal room built around premium monitoring and holds up to six. The Alley is a focused writing and vocal booth for smaller sessions of up to four. Open each room above to see its gear and details.
Sessions are billed by the hour: a room rate plus your selected engineer's current profile rate. In house engineering is billed separately at $30/hr. You can book a room on its own or add an engineer. Discounted bulk room blocks cover longer sessions, full day reservations and projects spanning several days. Multiple rooms and a full studio lockout are arranged separately by inquiry. Engineer time is not included throughout a block.
Jacob Stewart brings gold and platinum certified credits and assistant engineering credits on Grammy winning records. We track vocals, mix, master, produce and record full projects. Membership offers shared access to available rooms noon to midnight Monday through Saturday. Private reservations have priority and are booked separately at member rates, with 50% off separately booked private rooms and in house engineering with Jacob. Independent engineers remain full price. Selective admission requires an application, a prior Friday mixer or booked session visit and a separate meeting with management before acceptance.

How long can I book for?
A standard session can run up to 24 hours, subject to availability. The comparison above shows each room's minimum. Sessions starting between midnight and noon require at least two hours. Multiple engineer sessions require at least six hours total, four hours with the first engineer and two hours with each additional engineer. Those rules cover standard sessions, not extended room blocks. Discounted room blocks start at six hours and run through full day, week and month reservations, listed on Studio Lyfe pricing. Blocks longer than two days are arranged by inquiry. Engineer hours are separate and are not included throughout a block.
Do you offer mixing and mastering only?
Yes. You can send stems for mixing and mastering without booking studio time, or add mix and master to a tracking session. See mixing and mastering details.
Can I bring guests?
Yes, within each room's capacity. Extra guests beyond the included count are $20 per person, and every guest is listed on the booking.
